Your Traffic Is Yours
You control destinations and payloads. You are responsible for them even if a teammate, script, or customer of yours sent the request. “I did not know the bot was doing that” is not a defense. We may sample logs or act on provider abuse tickets; we do not promise to read every request.
Allowed Uses
Examples that fit when they are lawful and allowed by the destination:
- Privacy and leak testing on systems you own or are paid to test.
- Location QA of public pages and ads.
- SEO monitoring and polite research on public content.
- Market research and public-web collection that respects site rules and the law.
- Development, browser setup, and toolchain checks.
- Ordinary business browsing and integrations that comply with the target’s terms.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use Proxies.fo to do, hide, or automate any of the following:
- Crime of any kind, including fraud, theft, money laundering, bribery, or sanctions evasion.
- Spam, phishing, smishing, or any unsolicited bulk messaging.
- Credential stuffing, password spraying, inbox takeover, or stealing secrets.
- Distributing malware, botnets, exploit kits, or instructions to damage systems.
- DDoS, mail bombing, or any attempt to knock a host offline.
- Carding, payment-fraud testing on live rails, or abuse of checkout flows you do not own.
- Harassment, stalking, swatting, or coordinated abuse of people or businesses.
- Child sexual abuse material or any sexual content involving minors. We will report it.
- Unauthorized account farms, fake engagement, or inventory hoarding that breaks a platform’s rules.
- Illegal scraping, bypassing paywalls or technical controls, or taking non-public data.
- Copyright piracy, streaming-theft, or warez distribution.
- Accessing another customer’s credentials, the control plane, or our staff tools.
- Reselling or multiplexing access unless we approved a reseller arrangement.
- Anything that reasonably threatens the pool, an upstream provider, or other customers.
Fair Use
Unmetered and “unlimited” products share real capacity. Sustained saturation, open proxies, traffic that looks like a tunnel for a third party, or patterns that burn an IP range can be limited, shaped, moved, or shut off. Metered plans must stay inside the purchased volume and the published validity window.
Third-Party Rules
A destination’s terms still apply. If they forbid datacenter or residential proxies, automation, or multi-accounting, you must not use Proxies.fo to ignore that ban. We are not a party to your relationship with that site.
Investigation and Enforcement
We may act on our own telemetry, a provider ticket, a payment alert, or a report to the abuse desk. We may:
- Ask for a use-case explanation and logs you can safely share.
- Rotate, throttle, or withdraw credentials.
- Suspend or terminate the account and related reseller seats.
- Withhold refunds as described in the Refund Policy.
- Preserve and share technical records with providers, payment companies, or authorities when we reasonably must.
We can act without advance notice when delay would increase harm. Appealing a suspension goes to contact@proxies.fo; an appeal is not a stay.
Reporting Abuse
If you are a network operator, a site owner, or a customer who saw misuse, email abuse@proxies.fo with:
- UTC timestamps and timezone.
- Source IPs or credential usernames if you have them — not passwords.
- Target host, a short description, and a non-sensitive sample (headers or a single URL).
- Your contact email so we can reply from the same abuse mailbox.
