Introduction

Proxies.fo is owned and operated by Zentrix Data, a licensed company in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Zentrix Data is the operator responsible for personal information collected through Proxies.fo.

Who Is Responsible

Zentrix Data, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, decides why and how personal information is processed on proxies.fo, app.proxies.fo, and api.proxies.fo. Questions and rights requests go to contact@proxies.fo.

What This Covers

This policy covers the marketing site, accounts, payments, dashboard, API, support messages, and transactional email. It does not cover websites you visit through a proxy. Those sites have their own policies.

Information We Collect

You give us

  • Account details such as name, email, and password (stored hashed).
  • Support and form messages you submit.
  • Billing details needed to take payment (card data is handled by the payment processor, not stored as full card numbers on our servers).

We create in the product

  • Orders, subscriptions, invoices, and usage totals needed to bill and show the dashboard.
  • Generated credential metadata and plan entitlements.
  • Security events such as login attempts and suspension notes.

Device and logs

  • IP address, user-agent, and timestamps for security, rate limits, and (when enabled) analytics.
  • Technical metadata about proxy use needed to operate, bill, and investigate abuse. This is not a “we never log anything” service.

How We Use It

We use personal information to:

  • Create and secure accounts.
  • Take payment, fulfill plans, and send receipts or renewal notices.
  • Operate the dashboard and API you ask for.
  • Answer support requests.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and sanctions evasion, and to enforce the Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Meet accounting, tax, and law-enforcement obligations.
  • Understand aggregated traffic on the marketing site when analytics is configured.

We rely on the need to perform a contract with you, our legitimate interests in running a secure proxy service, consent where a law requires it (for example some cookies or marketing), and legal duties. For people covered by UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL), we handle requests under that law where it applies.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar storage for sign-in sessions, security, preferences, and (when enabled) analytics. Essential cookies are required for login. You can block optional cookies in the browser; some features may then stop working.

Sharing and Processors

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Payment processors needed to move money.
  • Email and messaging vendors that send receipts or support mail.
  • Analytics tools when configured on public pages.
  • Infrastructure and database hosts that run the application.
  • Upstream network providers needed to fulfill a plan you bought.
  • Authorities or injured parties when the law requires it, or when we must respond to a credible abuse report sent to abuse@proxies.fo.

Staff see customer records only as needed for support, billing, security, or operations.

International Transfers

Zentrix Data is in the UAE. Processors and infrastructure may be in other countries. By using the service you understand that your information may be processed outside your home country, with safeguards appropriate to the vendor and the task.

Retention

  • Account and billing records: for the life of the account and as long as tax or dispute rules require after closure.
  • Usage and order history: as needed to show the dashboard and prove fulfillment.
  • Support messages: until the request is finished and for a later period needed for quality and abuse review.
  • Security logs: for investigation and compliance.

When we no longer need a record, we delete it or irreversibly anonymize it where the systems allow.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (hashed passwords, access controls, HTTPS). No internet transmission is perfectly secure. You must protect your inbox, devices, and generated proxy passwords.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, delete, or restrict personal data, or to object to some processing, or to receive a portable copy. Email contact@proxies.fo from the address on the account and say what you want. We may need to verify it is you. We will respond as applicable law requires, including UAE PDPL and, where they apply to our processing, EEA/UK rights.

We may keep information we still need for billing, security, or legal claims even after a deletion request. We may refuse a request that is unfounded, excessive, or would break another duty.

Marketing

You are not automatically subscribed to promotional mail just by creating an account. Transactional mail (receipts, security notices, renewal warnings) is part of the service. You can ask us to stop non-essential marketing at contact@proxies.fo.

Children

Proxies.fo is for business customers and adults. It is not directed at children. If you believe we have information about a child, email contact@proxies.fo and we will delete it where the law requires.

Changes

We may update this policy by posting a new version here with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes that affect an existing account will be emailed when practical.
